Check perfume and electronics shipping eligibility before buying

Our perfume and electronics category pages are discovery collections. They do not promise that a listed item is eligible for a particular destination or service. A bottle's liquid content, an item's battery chemistry or a carrier's acceptance rules can change which routes, if any, are available.

Before ordering, write down the exact product type, quantity and package information. For electronics, identify whether a battery is included, installed or shipped separately. For fragrance, identify the liquid and bottle size. A generic “electronic item” or “perfume” may not be enough for a useful route answer.

Read the current restrictions for the exact route

EastMallBuy's published help material describes restrictions for alcohol-containing perfume, liquids and some batteries on particular transport methods. It also says that destination rules can affect a parcel. These rules are specific and may change, so confirm the current service and carrier response for your item and country before buying it.

Do not infer that a route accepting ordinary clothing also accepts a battery device. Nor should you assume that an item is safe to send simply because it appears in a product list. Ask the service what declaration and documentation the route requires, and whether that route accepts your exact contents.

Understand what photos can establish

For a sealed perfume, a photograph may show the bottle and packaging but cannot verify the liquid inside. For electronics, a photo of a model label or included cable does not prove a device functions or that its battery is safe. Published inspection terms place limits on opening and functional testing for some goods.

Use the QC guide to ask for visible information, while keeping the remaining uncertainty in your decision. If shipment eligibility is unknown, do not treat a reassuring photograph as a substitute for a route answer.

Get the answer before committing

Ask about your exact item, destination and intended packaging before paying for it when transport eligibility is decisive. Save the response and check it again when the parcel is ready, since the final packed contents and available lines may differ.

If no acceptable route is confirmed, choose a different item or postpone the purchase. If a route is available, compare its full quote with the method in the shipping-cost guide; a route for sensitive goods may have different charges and conditions.

Confirm every item is ready to leave the warehouse

Compare the list of goods you intend to ship with the warehouse records. Make sure the selected variants and quantities are correct and any QC questions are settled. Packing an item with an unresolved mismatch can make the next step harder to change.

Record which items should stay together and which, if any, should be shipped separately. Fragile goods, collectibles and liquids have different protection or route questions from ordinary clothing. Confirm that every proposed item is eligible before requesting a combined quote.

Decide what packaging matters to you

Removing an outer shoe box can reduce parcel volume, but a box may matter for storage, display or protecting the item. State your preference clearly. For a collectible, ask which packaging is essential and which is merely a shipping carton. For fragile goods, ask what additional protection is available and what it costs.

Do not request the smallest possible package without considering damage risk. A useful instruction balances size with protection: retain a needed product box, protect corners and avoid unnecessary empty outer cartons where the service can do so safely.

Compare packed quotes, not guesses

The total weight of separate product listings is not the same as the packed parcel's weight. A combined carton can be larger than expected, and some routes charge on dimensional weight. Request the packed dimensions, actual weight, chargeable weight and line total for the chosen packing arrangement.

If you are deciding between one combined parcel and two smaller parcels, compare complete quotes with the same destination and contents. Include any packing or handling charge. Consolidation is an option to test, not a guaranteed saving.

The shipping-cost article shows a worked volumetric-weight calculation and the questions to ask about billing rules.

Keep the final packing instruction

Save the instruction you submitted, the service's confirmation and photographs or measurements of the completed parcel if available. That record helps you understand a later shipping charge and describe a missing-item or packaging question.

After the waybill is created, follow the tracking guide to separate warehouse processing from carrier movement.
