Describe the difference precisely
Start with what you ordered and what the evidence shows. “Size L ordered; the photographed size label reads M” is actionable. “Looks bad” leaves the service to guess which feature you mean. Save the current listing, selected option, order confirmation and relevant warehouse image.
Separate a clear mismatch from uncertainty. A label photographed at an angle might simply be unreadable. Request a clearer image if it would resolve the question. Do not treat an old buyer's QC photo as evidence about your present order.
Check the current terms for this seller and stage
A return window can depend on the third-party seller, whether the item has reached the warehouse, the reason for return and the condition of the goods. EastMallBuy's published materials discuss seller rules and service assistance, but different public pages describe different periods. Use the terms shown for your actual order and ask support to confirm the deadline in writing.
Ask who pays domestic return postage, whether an exchange is possible and what happens to any service or packing charges. Do not assume that a visible defect automatically produces a full refund or that a no-reason return is available for every item.
Send a concise, documented request
Include the order reference, selected option, one sentence identifying the mismatch and the specific images or measurements that support it. State whether you want clarification, an exchange or a return. If a seller must approve the remedy, ask when you can expect a decision and what action is needed before the deadline.
Example: “Order 123, black jacket, size L. The warehouse photo appears to show size M on the neck label. Please confirm the label with a clear photo and tell me the return or exchange options before this item is packed.”
This is an illustrative message, not a guarantee of an outcome. Keep the response with your order record.
Resolve the issue before international shipping
Once an item is sent abroad, the logistics and available remedies can change. Hold packing or dispatch until you understand what is being sent. If you decide to keep the item despite an unresolved question, write down that decision and the evidence you had.
For a clearer way to review images before reaching this point, use the QC photo guide. If the product is settled, continue with parcel packing.
